Sign up form on this page. In summer of 2005 a group of us at the Jeanneau Rendezvous started talking about the possibility of extending the 2006 rendezvous to include a New England leg. Well, thanks to lots of hard work by Kris Vereen at the BYA office, as well as total support from a number of our staff, we were able to pull it off. DESCRIPTION: The Rally will consist of 3 legs. You may sign up for as many legs as fit your schedule. (Owners, you may make your boat available for one or more legs to charterers.) More information below. THIS IS A FINAL PLANNING FORM. EVERYONE MUST FILL OUT AS ACCURATELY AS POSSIBLE HOW YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE.Charterers or ASA course may participate on your boat if you don't have the time to do all 3 legs--see info on sign up form. Leg 1. July 26th, to approximately July 27th. We will proceed non stop, overnight to Atlantic City (Trump Marina) and regroup, refuel and prepare to leave by noon for the second leg to Block Island. We will then spend time on Block Island and proceed to Newport to provision and pick up or drop off crews. Leg 2. July 28th to Aug 8th. Proceed to various ports in the New England Islands. (See schedule below.) Beach clam bakes and other events will be planned. Leg 3. Aug 8th to Aug 11th. Return--depending on what everyone wants, —retracing the earlier route, or proceeding through Long Island Sound, the race and out the Hudson. Notice: Sailing, and especially offshore sailing can be a dangerous sport and by signing on, you recognize that the ultimate decision to accept the boat, conditions and captain in order to proceed, is yours.
