Description Galathea 65
Fountaine Pajot has enhanced its Flagship Class of luxury sailing
catamarans with the launch of the spectacular Galathea 65.

The Galathea 65 is the largest cruising vessel ever built by Fountaine
Pajot and is constructed with isopthalic resins in an all-infusion
composite process, assuring the lightest yet strongest multihull
construction method.

An outstanding creation from architects Berret Racoupeau and Coste
Design, the Galathea 65 has been carefully designed with all of the
performance, safety and comfort elements to satisfy the most discerning
live aboard sailors and cruisers.

Superb offshore performance is generated from its mastered displacement,
powerful sail plan and expanded waterline length.

The generous cockpit is fully protected and features a deck lounge and
sun-bridge for relaxing in style, while the deck affords easy
manoeuvrability with all controls from the cockpit, large winches and a
functional helm for fast, safe, comfortable and exhilarating sailing.

The majestic interior is extraordinarily spacious with a panoramic
saloon, dining room and gourmet galley and a choice of other areas for
relaxation.

The Owner’s Suite sets new standards in decadence and style with a study
area, lounge and large bathroom with dual vanity. Each of the passenger
cabins has their own bathroom, king size beds, large portholes and a
style that rivals the world’s top luxury hotels.

The Galathea 65 also includes an office/library, dressing rooms and
laundry. Standard equipment is more than comprehensive with special
features including a 17.5 kw generator, ample cold storage facilities,
240v electrical network, electrical davits for the tender plus
independent electric deck winches.

The catamaran is also the only true six-cabin vessel available to cater
for prestige charter use, while other layouts are offered to cater for
the unique needs of private and commercial clients.

| We now incorporate a
Hard top Bimini which provides more cockpit protection and an
area to attach side curtains, while serving as a sun bathing
platform above. |
 |
| The floor blends
smoothly into the main saloon, with no awkward step down.
Virtually the entire boat now serves as one large, comfortable
entertaining or working space. The cockpit is open aft, for easy
walk out access to the stern platforms, dinghy, or deck. |

 |
| The control cockpit
itself offers easy, direct access to the deck, on one hand, and
the cockpit on the other. A couple of steps down, put you and
your guests back together. Food and beverages are easily passed
to the helmsman who is not isolated from her guests! |

 |
| All Sail Controls are
led to the control cockpit including both jib sheets, main sheet
and main halyard. One electric winch can control everything. |
