This view into the windlass locker shows room for halyard tails, extra docking equipment and protected windlass.

The Helm station...

Seen here, is the new navigation console at the helm station. This allows radar and/or other large instruments to be installed without intruding into the interior. As a side benefit, the panel is angled upwards offering better visibility of all of the instruments.

Visibility is excellent from this station and you can see all 4 corners of the boat when docking.

In addition, you are under the sun/rain protection of the Bimini and optional wind screen in adverse weather.

On deck...

With net's forward and a long overhang aft, we have kept the weight out of the ends in order to impart a comfortable motion at sea with minimum hobby horsing. ...The cockpit is extremely generous with a table placed to Port. In addition, there is an abundance of deck space, including lounging space on the net forward. ...The helm is forward and the helm seat offers you a view of all four corners of the boat when docking.

The BYA Bimini, below, is full of great (optional) features: The Fixed pipe frame is solid. Solid walking platform down the center for getting to the sail and reef lines. Lights over table. Speakers built in. Aft porch light (for dinghy landing at night.) Fully integrated to follow the lines of the boat, give sun and rain protection and look great! Available on all of our boats.

The boat shown right, has the folding Bimini option.

Here is the fixed Bimini that we custom build for you. It is built of welded, anodized pipe frame construction which is lighter and stronger than SS and doesn't have a memory (won't take an un-removable bend like SS will!) This low maintenance solution offers numerous advantages and options in addition to the walk on platform and capability for windshield and/or side curtains--among others.

Main saloon...

Fountaine Pajot 38, Main SaloonBelow, there is an oversized, wrap around dinette with comfortable seating for up to 6 and the ability to set up 2 more portable chairs. Huge windows surround the living area allowing you to have 360 degree visibility. A unique feature to all Fountaine Pajots is the overhanging cabin top which shields the windows from the high sun keeping the interior noticeably cooler. We often steer the boat from inside in bad weather with the remote on the autopilot and feel we have complete all-around visibility.

The galley...

The galley is up on the starboard side. This arrangement is great for entertaining and allows the cook to be a part of the action.
