Boat-As-A-Business...
While the majority of boats we sell are Owner's versions intended for
serious long-term cruising, about 40% of our clients use our BAB plan as
an interim way to build equity in their new Fountaine Pajot while they're
working and limited in time.
This is a great way to convert tax advantages and income into equity.
This has nothing to do with a Charter Company Plan. Our plan is for you if
you care about having a custom boat, built for you, to your
specifications. If you want the flexibility to come and go as you
wish--with no restrictions. If you want your boat maintained like a
private owned boat. And, finally, if you want to end up owning and
cruising with this boat, or one that you roll it over for, in some period
of time.

Tips on selecting pre-owned
#1 Financing-Pre Approval
When activity is hot (like now) you have a better chance of
getting a lower offer accepted if there is no financing contingency. We
can get you pre-approved-free--it's part of our Buyers Broker Plan.!
#2 Save time and money
It's smart to make your offer, "subject to personal
inspection". This way you know the money issue is settled before you spend
time and money going to visit the vessel. If you do go to see it, you get
an immediate refund of your deposit if you don't like it. (This is a
standard clause in your BYA offer.)
#3 Having your own Broker
When you see listings on the web or in magazines--the
contact information is for the SELLER'S broker. You don't need to work
with someone who represents the other party. Get your own broker, like BYA--it

The Catamaran lifestyle... Belize 43'
Catamarans are the
ideal choice for a cruising couple. They're easy to handle under power and
sail. They offer a stable platform for the experienced and novice sailor
alike. Modern designs, like the Fountaine Pajot, have the load carrying
ability not available in older designs. They go to windward well. They
tack. In fact, with over 100 ocean deliveries of 1,000 miles or more in a
variety of conditions--of monohulls and catamarans--we find that
catamarans offer about 20% faster passages.
So, how
safe is your Fountaine Pajot? Each one does it's shake down as a
trans-Atlantic to the East Coast. The insurance for a catamaran is the
