The next generation of
the highly successful big deck saloon concept
from Jeanneau.
It's difficult to imagine improving on
the Jeanneau 54DS concept, which smashed records
as the most successful 50+ sailing yacht in the
history of modern boat building with close to
400 hulls delivered since the boat was first
introduced in 2001.
The cockpit is much larger, with a huge sun
lounging area aft of the helm stations and three
separate but adjoining seating areas. From
a built-in cockpit beverage cooler, larger
seating/lounging areas, integrated line control
and stowage, and huge companionway with
atwartship, sliding doors into a recessed
area. Easy access into and out of the
cockpit, great visibility from the helm with the
low coachroof profile, and many opening hatches
both on deck and in the cockpit. Building
on the success of the 54, every detail has been
thought through.
The opening transom into the dinghy garage
area, ingeniously folds down into a dinghy
dock and waterside lounging area, with easy
transport of the dinghy into and out of its
storage area on rollers.

Split forward cabin has a removable fore and aft
bulkhead to make a large VIP cabin with a pull
out king sized bed and couch instead of port
bunks.

shower.
