2.Money, there are so many priorities

a.       BAB. Management, plus Boat-As-A-Business. In this variation you still get total care for your boat while you enjoy it when ever you want, but when you’re not using it, we charter it to  well qualified clients. The income and tax advantages, in many cases, offset 70-100% of your cost. We help you every step of the way, including helping you set up your business and understand the tax advantages.

b.      Financing. We arrange it at the most competitive rates in the industry. Unlike many others, we handle everything and provide an amortization table so that you can know the interest portion of your payment (in advance) and get your second home or business deduction monthly to help reduce your cash flow.

c.       Reduce your downpayment. We set up rebates for you so  that these can be applied to your downpayment leaving your capital free for other investments.

Ask your tax advisor about our Boat-As-A-Business Plan?

Maybe, maybe not.

Ultimately, it is wise to talk to your tax advisor to optimize your situation.

However, the decision itself, in the end, is yours. Your tax advisor is busy and may not fully understand this program. Right now, (s)he probably doesn't have time to figure it out.

We've found that about 50% of tax advisors will say no to the idea without fully understanding why this approach works. (The other 50% enthusiastically endorse the idea--if you can't find the right advisor, we can refer you to one.) Keep in mind, we've already helped over 650 people set their boat up as a business--successfully.

Timing is everything!
If you can get a boat for this spring, that's ideal (ask us what's available). You can qualify for a full years of tax advantages and get income to cover cash flow this year.
There are other scenarios that work, including getting a boat in the fall and having it go directly to the Islands.
