2. Deck Saloons

I don't want to live in a hole! D....... was used to living and entertaining in nice homes.  She enjoys her motor home for the freedom it offers. The first monohull she sailed, seemed claustrophobic below to this new sailor. She went along with the experience to please her husband--but this wasn't the way she wanted to spend her time. While she was adventurous and loved to hike, and ride bikes and motorcycles (as well as motorhome),  she just couldn't imagine entertaining her friends and family this way.

Eventually, she  chartered a catamaran in the Caribbean and that was better, but, this hands on Gal found that it lacked the "feel" of a "real" sailboat. Read the rest here.

3. How do you (will you) use your boat?

Some owners find they don't have the time. They put their boat in our boat as a business program, use it when they want, and let us charter it out when they're not using it. Let's Go Cruising, of course, is our Chartering and management company.

We have over 30 new and like new--(85% are less than 3 years old) boats in our fleet--most based out of Annapolis.

New this year are the Jeanneau 45DS, Fountaine Pajot (Catamaran )44 and Floating homes. They join the other Jeanneaus and Fountaine Pajots from 36-54' that are available for bare boat charter with or without a captain. We offer ASA live aboard sailing courses (ask for Mike), Flotilla cruises, Corporate charters and much more. The Chesapeake has the 4th largest Coastline of any state in the country and we offer a huge number of itineraries incorporating visiting historic, vibrant towns, quiet anchorages, lively party destinations and much more.
