The Virgin Islands

U.S., Spanish or British V.I. You can't go wrong!

The Virgin Islands, The most popular sailing destination in the world!

Perfect Sailing:
Wonderful weather (average year round temperature of 82 degrees), predictable sailing with trade winds averaging a comfortable 13-20Knots, and easy, line of sight navigation make this a sailors paradise.

Easy Access: The Virgin Islands are easy to get to, with direct flights into St. Thomas (where some of the bases we represent are located) or a short connection from San Juan in Puerto Rico.

Great Boats: We recommend the exceptional boats that we have placed  with some of the best managed companies in the Caribbean and in addition, we broker charters for other companies.

The Caribbean...

If you're not familiar with the Caribbean, here's an overview. The Virgin Islands are, justifiably, the most popular charter destination in the world. The sailing is easy. The water's deep, the navigation line of sight. You usually sail an hour or two, anchor for lunch, then sail another hour or two to your evening anchorage. The people are friendly, average year round temp is 82 degrees. Join us...

What to  bring

A Virgin Island Visit.
Now you can take your choice of where to leave from--Tortola or St. Thomas. Below is a quick summary of the advantages of each location. In either case--you will be hosted by a smaller, more personal management company rated tops in each area. (Use Netscape)

Advantages of each location...

Advantages: A base in St. Thomas Advantages: A base in Tortola
Generally Less expensive air-fare, better scheduling and shorter flying times. More boats available, resulting in more flexible scheduling.
Better facilities and provisioning. American style markets for provisioning, but also extensive duty-free shopping, medical facilities, etc. It's easy to convince everyone to go here because most sailors are already familiar with Tortola.
More choices of sailing areas with Less crowded areas as well as BVI sailing. Choose from U.S. Virgins, Spanish Virgins or British Virgins--all within a few minutes or hours of the  base. Easy sailing in the BVI, though because of it's popularity--this is somewhat crowded during high season.
